The resort is located on the east coast of Mauritius, in the Belle Mare area. It stretches along a very long, wide, white sandy coastline (about 1.3 km of beach frontage) with views over a coral‑reef lagoon.
 
The resort replaced an older resort (“Le Coco Beach”) in about 2011; the old one was demolished and Long Beach was built afresh with a bold contemporary design. 
 
Types include Superior Garden View, Superior Sea View, Beachfront / Beach Front Superior Rooms, Family Rooms, Deluxe Beach Front Suites, etc.
 
Facilities & Activities
Pools: Multiple pools including a large main pool, adult‑only / infinity pools, children’s pool, lap pool.
Spa & Wellness: They have a spa named “Sea Spa” / “Cinq Mondes Spa & Wellness Retreat” offering various treatments, outdoor pavilions, etc.
Restaurants & Dining: 5 restaurants + bars. Cuisine variety: international buffet, Italian, Asian (Japanese, Chinese), seafood, etc.
 
Excursions: Day tours to explore cultural sites, markets, nature reserves around Mauritius. While not always arranged by the resort, many guests do these via tour operators. (E.g. spice market tours, local villages, wildlife trails.)
